Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine V. M. Lytvyn took part in the memorial ceremony at Babi Yar.

Together with President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, and Deputy Prime Minister of the State of Israel Avigdor Liberman, the Head of the Ukrainian Parliament laid flowers to the monument in the Babi Yar National Historical and Memorial Reserve in Kyiv.

Participants of the ceremony observed a minute's silence for the victims of the Babi Yar massacre.
